Earings for Girls

i like him but i don’t know if i want to go out when he gave the earings to me i was just like frozen it was embarising my friend was yelling at me to talk to him and read my text message(he sent me one saying i have somthing for you. at the end of the dance, he jut said here and handed them to me. I felt like a girl dog(if u know what i mean)
Do you think i should still go out with him or dump him?
